This week has been by far one of the most eventful musical weeks of my life. It started off on Friday when someone thought it would be cool to steal my Macbook Pro from RESET. This is the computer that I use to DJ and create all of my songs on. The music is backed up but my production software and session files from the last three years are gone. BUMMER. If anyone has any info on who took it or how I can get it back just contact me. I’m more interested in it’s return than pressing charges.
On a lighter note, my “As We Enter” Remix has been blowing up! It’s received over 14,000 plays in only 9 days, and peaked at number 9 on the Hype Machine popular chart. It’s awesome to see that kind of reception on a track! I’d like to thank all the blogs who posted it and all the kids who shared it with their friends. I’m not sure when I’ll be back up and running with production, but I can assure you that when I do I’ll be back with some new BANGERS.
I know I already mentioned it but if you’re in Orlando tomorrow you NEED to be at ICON for the Dub the Halls tour featuring NERO and yours truly. Check out all the info here.

More soon,

PS- Check out these write-ups on my remix as well!
What’s up everyone?! Lots of exciting stuff happening in the world of DallasK. Pumping out tracks left and right trying to finish up this EP for January; I’m looking forward to people hearing it! Just finished up an unofficial remix of Damian Marley and Nas’ “As we Enter”
In other news, I’m putting the final touches on my Winter Mix and that should be out soon. (ps. there will be some new tracks in the mix!) As far as shows go, at the end of last month I had the privilege of playing with Steve Aoki, Wolfgang Gartner, La Riots and SonicC in Fort Lauderdale along with good friends After the Smoke and the bros DJ Nymz and Henry Fong. RESET is still chugging along in Orlando and next week we have a very special edition of RESET, the Dub the Halls tour is coming through which features NERO, Virus Syndicate, and Plastician. Check out the Facebook event here.
Finally I’ll be playing the Takeovr front room on 12/28 from 10-11 so come and check that out as well.
This week has been pretty nuts! I got the opportunity to play at Orlando’s longest running dance party Crush at Backbooth. It was a wiiiillld night. Plus it was A. Gruzy’s bday! Thanks to Pauly, Justin, Spanky and George for letting me come play as well.
Then at midnight Tuesday, RE:CREATIONS (the There for Tomorrow EP with tracks from yours truly) dropped on iTunes. Before I even left Crush I got word that it was at number #15 on the iTunes Alternative Chart, not bad for a self produced EP with almost no promotion. Psyched on that and to have worked with the band and Twerkshop for this. If you havent heard my remix already here’s a stream with the links to buy!
Lastly, tomorrow night we are continuing our overthrow of the downtown electro scene with another RESET, which will feature good friends Yoti and Twerkshop, plus it’s gonna be hosted by TFT’s own Maika Maile so if your in Orlando you’re probably gonna want to hit this up. Check out more information on the event here.
PS: If you are out at UCF or can make the drive I’m gonna be shutting down Riot Wednesdays at Dungeon Lounge on 10/27 with a special guest set you aren’t gonna want to miss. Stoked!
I’ll be playing this Festival w/After The Smoke the day after Thanksgiving in Ft. Lauderdale alongside Steve Aoki, Wolfgang Gartner, LA Riots, and SonicC!
Yeahhh, I havent posted anything on here in a minute that’s for damn sure. But if you read this you’ve seen the cryptic RE:Creations posts that have shown up over the past weeks. Well I’m about to hook my readers up! Here is a teaser clip of my latest remix for the guys in There for Tomorrow!
The EP is Released Oct. 19th on iTunes / Pre-Order’s coming soon!
